Your privacy is critically important to us. It is Crunite’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites. You can contact Crunite at any time by emailing email@example.com.
Like most website operators, Crunite collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Crunite’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Crunite’s visitors use its websites. From time to time, Crunite may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g. by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
Crunite also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Crunite does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Certain visitors to Crunite’s websites choose to interact with Crunite in ways that require Crunite to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Crunite gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account to provide a username and email address. Crunite collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Crunite. We collect details such as your name in order to provide accurate attribution in association with the content you upload for public viewing. We collect information such as your email address in order to keep in touch with you regarding content you have submitted or to share content via our email newsletter, which users are free to unsubscribe from at any time. We do not collect or process any data on: Race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union memberships, genetic or biometric data, health or mortality, sex life or sexual orientation. Crunite does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below, and we do not use personal information to make automated decisions. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
As a user, at any time, you can request information on what personal information is being processed pertaining to you, why this information is being processed, who has access to this personal information about you, how this personal information is being used in automated decisions and what processes are using this information, and we will provide it free of charge. To request this information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
