Fox Kids Europe N.V. (presently known as Jetix) is an integrated children’s entertainment company whose main focus is on television programming. The report walks a difficult line of providing easy to use financial information with a bold, almost child-friendly design. It’s an unusual approach – characters from their various programme line-ups leap off the page and in some cases this is to the detriment of the infographics.

In other cases, photographs of employees interact with characters from various the cartoons.

The spiral-bound report makes use of three different page sizes in glossy stock – all visible on opening the report. This provides simple navigation between the three main sections of the report.

The photography leaves much to be desired and its mediocre quality is surprising, given the stature of the company.

Character images culled from their television shows are, in comparison, crisply printed and vibrantly coloured.

The accounts section is vastly different from the rest of the report. It makes use of uncoated stock and is restricted to two inks (yellow and black), making the accounts easy to navigate and read.
